A Lyrical Delusion

Poetry- To Allow A Free Mind

My prerogative.

Write down your feelings I hear them say,

It will help them go away,

But I can’t begin to explain,

The anger inside, the rage and pain.

My words must rhyme or their would be none,

An objective to learn and just to survive,

But a need to feel pain, so I know I’m alive.

New Life

So many changes have begun to happen,

Many of which I can not fathom,

A Fresh start of life from out the blue,

Feelings and ideas that have grew.

Our little world

Smaller than a grain of sand,

Even the mountains on this land,

We’re a dot in time and space,

Spinning around at a slow pace.
